The 22-year-old displayed nerves of steel and had no problem holding his hand against his honorable opponent throughout the incident.
Petnlo provoked Duansompong with unconventional combinations and spinning elbow attacks, making the 25-year-old think twice before pocketing in the opening stages. He grew in his confidence as the fight progressed and continued to land better strikes.
Duansongpong managed to build up the pressure in the closing stages, but it wasn't enough to sway the judges, and Pettenloh won by unanimous decision.
With this victory, the Thai striker improved to 2-0 in ONE matches and 52-21 in his career.
Lambon gets his third KO victory over Pansac
Lambong Soe Serapat finished third in a thrilling 128-pound catchweight Muay Thai showdown with Pansak Woh Wangtawee at ONE Friday Fights.
Both fighters exchanged heavy fire as the fight began, but it was Pansak who landed the cleaner punches in the first round.
However, Lambon always seemed ready to explode, landing his opponent with a right hook at the start of the second frame.
Pansak responded to the referee's count, but was clearly unsteady on his feet. Although he tried to continue the fight, the Luxuan Muay Thai camp athlete never gave up.
