Phillip Schofield and his former This Morning colleague's girlfriend have reportedly signed a mutual non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to keep them from speaking publicly about their affair.
Mr Schofield's career at ITV came to an abrupt end last year when the 61-year-old admitted to having an affair with a younger male colleague, and he has since retreated from public life.
At the time, Schofield labeled the relationship “unwise but not illegal.” The man in question, who has not been officially named, was hired as a runner on ITV's regular show at the age of 19.
It is currently reported that the two have signed a strict non-disclosure agreement to keep details of their relationship from becoming public.
A source said: “Phil will probably sleep better at night knowing his younger ex can no longer talk about their relationship.”
They added to the Daily Mail: “He has lost a lot and if the full story were to come out it would be quite a disaster for him.”
Mr Schofield left ITV last year following the controversy.

The revelations come after a reported feud between Schofield and This Morning co-star and former best friend Holly Willoughby last year.
Mr Willoughby also gave a lengthy speech to This Morning viewers in light of the highly publicized controversy.
