Janesha Moore, who made more than $100,000 through Amazon and LTK's affiliate marketing programs, is preparing to launch a program to help other diverse BIPOC creators do the same, told Business Insider by Shriya Bhattacharya writes.
Moore was fired from his job as a global marketing project manager for a luxury watch company in January 2023. The 27-year-old tried to pursue a career as a creator until four months later when she received a check from Amazon for $540 in affiliate commissions.
“Seeing that money really opened my eyes,” said the Philadelphia-based creator. “That's when I started seriously strategizing and doing a lot of research into affiliate marketing.”
Moore currently has more than 197,000 followers on Instagram and more than 83,500 followers on TikTok. She focuses on style, beauty, and self-care content, and in the 12 months since she was fired she was able to earn $100,378, most of it from affiliate marketing. It belongs to.
