Job summary
As an integral member of the Digital department, the Marketing Analyst supports the team by providing reports, insights, and metrics to the artist roster across the Firebird platform to inform opportunities for audience growth and monetization of the fan base. Masu.
This person will work with the Firebird data and analytics team to develop the tools, dashboards, and data resources needed to track analytics on a daily and weekly basis.
Marketing Analysts also develop bespoke, custom presentations on behalf of artists and manage their entire social media usage, including social media, streaming (DSP), commercial platforms (e-commerce), and CRM (email/SMS). Provides thorough targeted audience insights. monitoring tools.
primary responsibilities
- Weekly reports and artist roster measurements to track audience and revenue growth
- Build custom decks on behalf of artists and teams, delivering key insights, observations, and opportunities to drive business decisions
- Use social analytics tools (monitoring platforms/sentiment analysis) to uncover trends related to conversations/high profile moments
- Analyze your content to determine strategies to reach more fans and find new audiences
- Develop systems to track conversion metrics in CRM, e-commerce, and fan clubs
- Attribution analysis of marketing activities (KPI/ROI) related to tickets, merchandise, music sales, and data collection
- Work with data and analytics teams to provide feedback on building tools and dashboards
- Provide strategic recommendations to stakeholders based on operational learnings
- Create campaign summaries with the goal of providing actionable next steps for your team and partners
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience as a marketing analyst (record label, promoter, technology, agency).
- Knowledge of artist analytics platforms such as Spotify for Artist, Apple Music for Artist, Amazon for Artists, Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, and TikTok analytics.
- Also proficient with e-commerce platforms (Shopify/Magento) and CRM (MailChimp, Klaviyo, Laylo)
- Ability to use social media monitoring and marketing intelligence tools (Meltwater/Sprout/Brandwatch/Tubular/E-Poll/Fivetran)
- Previous use of Google Analytics, Omniture, SQL
- Proven ability to deliver actionable insights – recommendations that drive business objectives and generate audience and revenue growth
- Excellent communication skills – written and oral communication
