As part of Innovation Week 2024, in conjunction with Innovation Supernetwork, we sit down with the team at Leeds-based digital marketing agency Another Concept to find out what role innovation is playing in the industry, and how AI and more We discussed how emerging technologies can help marketers become more efficient. creative process. Read on to find out more…
First of all, what does innovation mean to the team at Another Concept?
Tom: Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. We consider ourselves a “digital marketing agency with a difference.” As a result, we are always looking for ways to challenge the status quo.
We believe that most marketing agencies are too stuck in their ways. They follow a certain process because “that's the way it's always been done.” But this means you haven't considered whether there is another way that is faster, better, or more accurate.
For us, innovation means challenging the way we do things. This means finding new efficiencies and improvements that deliver better results and greater value for our clients.
How does the agency encourage and foster innovation within the marketing industry?
Alex: It's an exciting time to be in the marketing industry. Google is launching new products and redefining its algorithms, while AI tools and large-scale language models are changing the way we work.
We believe that companies that embrace these changes, adapt their services and continuously innovate will be able to deliver the highest levels of value to their customers and stay at the top of their industry. That's why we focus on finding new and innovative ways to overcome problems.
We believe that by being early adopters of new technology, we can deliver the highest possible level of value to our clients. We also believe that by continually innovating and incrementally improving the way we work, we can maximize outcomes for our clients and ensure that their marketing budgets are always used in the best possible way.
Of all the innovations that are dominating the headlines, which one is the other concept you'd most like to adopt?
Marcus: At the moment we are looking at how AI can help us improve our services. As part of this, we recently started trialing a tool called “Keyword Insights.” This removes many manual elements of time-consuming tasks such as keyword research.
This allows us to complete the process more quickly (of course, manual checks will still be performed to ensure accuracy).
Ultimately, we believe that by automating many of the manual and process-heavy parts of our business, we can spend more time strategizing and finding real insights. This means the client receives more value.
What can you tell our readers about Another Concept’s plans for the rest of 2024?
Rich: 2024 will be a big year for Another Concept. In April we will move into our first permanent office space below Coles in central Leeds. We hope to grow and make our first hires in the second half of this year.
Of course, we're also on the lookout for new clients, and since we officially launched in October 2023, we've gained some new clients that we love working with. However, it can accommodate about two more cars. If you would like to find out what we can do for you, please contact us.
