The house she chose was called the “Holiday House.”
Taylor Swift bought an 11,000 square foot property in Rhode Island in 2013 for a whopping $17.75 million, which she reportedly paid for in cash.
Known as the High Watch or Holiday House, this eight-bedroom property is built on the highest point of Watch Hill and boasts over 700 feet of private beachfront.
The home has eight fireplaces and 10 bathrooms, sits on 5.23 acres, and features an expansive back patio with a huge pool.
The 1929 home was famously owned by oil heiress Rebecca Harkness for more than 30 years before Swift got the keys to the mansion.
Although Swift never had the chance to meet the socialite, Harkness remained an influence on the singer-songwriter, who wrote “The Last Great American Diana,” a song about her wild lifestyle.
In fact, Swift seems to have taken a cue from Harkness, who was known for throwing Gatsby-esque parties, and carried on her legacy by making her hilltop home the location of the Fourth of July every year.
While the 34-year-old private pop star doesn't share many images of her villa herself, some of her A-list friends have posted images of the lavish party, known as Timerica, on social media. Year showing a glimpse inside the house.
Back in 2015, some of her famous friends, including Gigi Hadid, Joe Jonas, and Martha Hunt, shared photos from their fun weekends on Instagram.
Hadid shared a photo of herself playing on a makeshift volleyball court in Swift's backyard, and another photo of the three girls posing on a spiral staircase.
The trio, wearing matching red, white and blue dresses, were all smiles as they leaned against the white iron railing.
Meanwhile, Martha also posted several snaps of the house's exterior, including a tiled patio with white lounge chairs and a pool area decorated with inflatable toys and a slide.
Jonas posted a photo of himself and his brother Nick Jonas taking advantage of Swift's bar.
The area had a vintage feel to it, with built-in cabinets displaying knick-knacks such as a large 'T' sign and several bottles of various alcohols.
Several of the superstar's other friends also shared photos from inside the home's white kitchen.

The cooking area features white cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and gray marble countertops.
Of course, Swift also has a music studio at her home, which she seems to be putting to good use for entertaining.
The living space, on the other hand, boasts high ceilings and appears to be decorated in neutral tones, including white furniture, tan walls, oak hardwood floors, and white crown molding.
Vintage sconces line some of the walls, casting dim yellow light into the romantic space.
The “Antihero” singer took a few years off from hosting star-studded parties, but she hosted a small get-together for Independence Day this year with her best friend Selena Gomez and the Haim sisters. .

Rather than fancy paintings, Swift chose black-and-white photographs of friends and family, which appeared to line one of the hallway walls.
Despite having such a luxurious retreat, Swift usually leaves her Rhode Island house with the permission of her friends and lives in a $50 million New York City mansion.
In fact, the 14-time Grammy winner reportedly gave away her coastal saltbox home to Hadid and Bradley Cooper in the early stages of their relationship last year.
