Imthxfuture gained attention shortly after releasing his music video for “Lifestyle,” a big statement from his broader perspective on what he wants from the music industry. As an independent artist, this music video showed him to be important.
For those who don't know his music yet, Imthxfuture is a young and exciting up-and-coming rapper from Australia, but you might think he's American.
the future now Originally from Brisbane, I started making music at the age of 12. Supported by a loyal fan base since his teenage years, Imthxfuture has dedicated himself to improving his music at every turn.
His early releases were widely praised, even though his fan base was still small. Imthxfuture gained attention for the way he focuses his sound on concrete, easy-to-listen rap, incorporating elements from subgenres such as emo rap, trap, and SoundCloud rap. His music was raw and focused on the pressures of the environment he grew up in, including mental health, the alienation of young people, and his views on love and relationships.

Imthxfuture has been modestly but steadily growing its fan base and has started holding shows in Brisbane and other parts of Queensland and New South Wales to see who will perform. Coincidentally, these shows generated a lot of interest and at one point he Imthxfuture was playing an average of two shows a week at top venues in this part of Australia.
He grew in confidence and height. Imthxfuture teamed up with many of the best producers and music makers around him, including his brother, who was his long-time best friend and de facto his Imthxfuture manager, to create songs that would gain him a broader, international fan base. I wanted to create a visual.
This is the background behind the birth of “lifestyle.” “Lifestyle”, now considered to be the song that helped Imthxfuture gain international attention, was a statement by John Future about himself and the kind of life he wanted to live.
“Lifestyle” music video This was an impressive event, especially for artists who are still working independently. In “Lifestyle,” directed by Tom Buckley (his brother) and shot by Jordan Mundy (his high school friend), Imthxfuture visualized and expressed his success. He's been seen partying on yachts, driving around in Lambos and hanging out in helicopters, all against the backdrop of sunny cities and golden beaches.
As you can imagine, “lifestyle” has become a hot topic. With this video garnering him over 500,000 streams across his streaming platforms, record label owners and future music managers in the US are reaching out to Imthxfuture to see if we can collaborate on their next endeavor. I was there.
