why do we care? Encouraging creators to share longer videos not only expands advertising opportunities for brands, but also increases engagement. High-quality content tends to engage viewers more effectively, providing advertisers with a valuable opportunity to connect with a more engaged audience base.
subscription package. TikTok has confirmed that it will be making subscription packages available to all creators in the coming weeks. Previously, the LIVE subscription feature was limited to live creators. However, the platform is introducing this change to encourage creators to share more content.
advantage. By offering subscriptions, creators can provide added value and strengthen their community through exclusive content and benefits, such as:
- badge.
- Personalized emoji.
- Exclusive content.
- Chat for subscribers only.
TikTok said that by offering these perks to followers, creators can “build dynamic relationships with their communities while increasing their monthly income.”
Accessibility. Initially, subscriptions will be limited to creators by invitation only. However, in the coming weeks, eligible creators will be able to sign up.
The creator program is being rolled out. TikTok also confirmed that it has removed its creativity program from beta and rebranded it as the “Creator Rewards Program.” This incentive encourages creators to submit high-quality, original, long clips in exchange for compensation. TikTok explains:
- “This program offers higher cash incentives with earnings based on qualifying views, so you can potentially earn 20 times more than the Creator Fund previously offered.”
Creator Academy upgrade. Additionally, TikTok is enhancing its creator portal on its “Creator Academy” platform. This upgrade includes more and improved courses, articles, videos, and insights to help creators get the most out of their efforts in the app. Our goal is to provide valuable resources to help creators improve their skills and find success on our platform.
