Outspoken media personality Afia Pokua, popularly known as Wim Lady, has slammed those making claims regarding the death of late Deputy Finance Minister John Kuma.
She said the predictions about Kuma's death could not be completely true because some people already knew about his condition and that he was fighting for his life.
She lashed out at such men of God and told them to stop making any more claims about the late MP for Ejisu’s death.
She also accused them of using the situation to gain public attention and “promote” themselves.
Vim Reddy also urged these people to allow the widow and family of the late MP to mourn in peace.
“Ghanahuo, please, we should be sensitive about families. We should stop marketing that seeks popularity and attention, or predicts someone’s death. Close friends knew that Mr. Hong Kuma was ill last year. After John Kuma's death was revealed, prophet Nigel Gaethje's prophecies of December 31, 2024 started trending, and the Deputy Finance Minister was told that life would be different as misfortune could strike. He was heard saying that people should be careful.
After Mr. Kuma's death, Mr. Gaisi revealed his efforts to contact the late Deputy Finance Minister, but these efforts proved futile.
About the death of John Bear
John Kuma passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Suhum Government Hospital.
According to reports, the deputy minister had been battling illness for quite some time before his death. Mr. Kuma was 45 years old.
He was seen as one of the rising stars of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and was touted by some factions within the party as a running mate to the party's standard-bearer, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.
He recently received overwhelming praise from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Ejisu as their representative for the 2024 parliamentary primaries scheduled for December.
He was an entrepreneur, a preacher, and a lawyer.
Before becoming an MP in 2020, Mr Kuma served as chief executive officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program (NEIP).
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Apostle Lillian Kuma, and six children.
