BBH India, the creative agency within Publicis Groupe India, has announced the appointment of Nisheeth Srivastava as Executive Creative Director (ECD). Based in Delhi, Srivastava's responsibilities include working across the brands carried by both of the agency's offices and reporting directly to Parikshit Bhattacharya, chief creative officer at BBH India. Parikshit Bhattacharyya said, “Nishit's appointment is consistent with our goal of building a talent-dense team. His extensive body of work is a powerful source of culturally-rooted insight and progressive ideas. His experience in dealing with assignments for big brands will add another dimension to our game, especially in Delhi. I'm joining a very collaborative creative leadership team and I look forward to seeing their magical combinations as they curl some in the top right corner for our clients.”
With 15 years of experience in industries including advertising, radio and internet, Nisheth is able to view business and its communications through multiple lenses.
In the advertising industry, I started my career at Mudra Ahmedabad as an account planner and moved to Lowe Lintas as a copywriter. He has worked on various brands such as Moov, Krack, Google pay, Dulux Paints, OLX, Philips to name a few.
Before resuming advertising at Lowe in 2018, Nisheeth also worked as a brand creative lead at OLX. In his three and a half years at OLX, he gained first-hand experience in digital and worked with various partners to make OLX one of his most well-integrated brands. A social experiment conducted to demonstrate the hoarding culture in India was one of the highlights of the mission.
Outside of work, he is passionate about his words. On his Hindi poetry page 'Ek Tukda Zindagi' on Facebook, he has nearly 14,000 organic subscribers. Father to a 10-year-old daughter and his 13-year-old dog, Nishith is also an avid cricketer and car enthusiast. His Lucknow roots are still very strong and a street food lover was born in him.
