TikTok has updated its Effect Creator Rewards program to improve monetization opportunities for existing members and expand access for creators in new markets.
TikTok aims to bring more creators into the effort by expanding the program to 33 more markets and lowering eligibility criteria.

Even more markets. Content creators in the following regions can now join Effect Creator Rewards and start monetizing their effects.

Eligibility requirements are lower. Previously, creators had to use the effect on 200,000 eligible videos before earning rewards. From now on, you'll be able to unlock rewards simply by using each effect on her 100,000 eligible videos.
Accessibility. Starting March 12, 2024, only effects featured in eligible public videos will be eligible to earn rewards. This applies to effects released after this date. Effects released before this point will continue to comply with previous payment rules and requirements.
Cash reward. Compensation amounts may vary depending on the region where the video is published. The maximum payout for a single effect is $14,000, while the maximum monthly payout for a single creator is $50,000.
Calculation of compensation. Creators earn rewards based on the total number of eligible video uploads or unique public videos from eligible regions that use the effect within the first 90 days. The creator will start earning rewards once the effect reaches her 100,000 unique public video uploads. Rewards will continue to accumulate each time you upload a qualifying video until the 90-day period ends or you reach the maximum reward.
