A top executive at Galaxy Digital believes Bitcoin (BTC) will eventually reach $100,000 and surpass this market cycle.
In a new interview with CNBC, Jason Urban, global head of trading at Galaxy Digital, said $100,000 for BTC is within the realm of possibility.
Urban will ask for $125,000 split down the middle, based on Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz's $100,000 estimate and Standard Chartered's recent estimate of $150,000. Stated.
“Certainly, I think a lot of crypto natives are expecting $100,000. As you know, I was at the Digital Asset Summit in London this week and talked to a lot of crypto natives. And there's a lot of traditional finance players coming in as well. So I don't think $100,000 is out of the question.”
Urban also expects that Bitcoin could reach up to $150,000 after taking time to regain momentum from the recent retracement.
“Certainly we hope $150,000 is the right number, but how we get there is also important, right? We need sound price discovery and sound market action. A little bit of a retrace here from the $73,000 high. I think you'll see a steady rise as you build your base here and then all of a sudden you start to really go higher. So I play diplomat and say $120,000, $125,000. ”
At the time of writing, BTC is worth $63,953, down 11% in the last week.
