CASPER, Wyo. — The Natrona County Travel and Tourism Council, doing business as Visit Casper, recently announced that applications are now being accepted for the Casper Regional Impact Grant Program and Marketing Collaborative Initiative.
“Through these programs, we are able to provide support to our community and encourage visitation to Natrona County,” said Amanda Sewell, Business Development Coordinator for Visit Casper.
As part of this year's application process, Visit Casper will host a town hall where interested applicants can attend to learn more about grants and marketing funds. The town hall will be held at noon April 9th at The Lyric and a light lunch will be provided.
“Town halls are a great way to ensure all parties have a solid understanding of Visit Casper’s programs and grants,” said Wayne Stewart, Visit Casper’s director of marketing and communications. . “They can attend and learn about how they can take advantage of services that will help them and support the local tourism economy.”
The Casper Area Impact Grant, funded by Visit Casper and the City of Casper, allows local Natrona County nonprofits to produce events and projects that drive economic impact by bringing people to their communities and improving quality of life. It is designed to.
Click here to apply; the deadline is noon on May 17th. Grant applications will be reviewed by a committee and then approved by the Natrona County Travel and Tourism Council Board of Directors.
Visit Casper Marketing Co-Op is in its second year funding tourism promotion projects in Natrona County. Interested businesses can apply for $2,500 to help fund the effort and facilitate a visit to Casper. The deadline for applications is May 3rd, and the winner will be selected on May 24th.
