How did you start working in your industry?
I've always been a creative person. After graduating magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree from Memphis College of Art in Tennessee, she returned to Arkansas for an opportunity to work in advertising. To date, I have 18 years of recruiting experience, the last 12 of which were spent creating social media content for a multi-branch healthcare organization. Starting my own social media marketing business was a leap of faith in myself and a joy from day one.
What should people know about your business?
My passion is helping small businesses grow and tell their unique stories to the world through social media. There's a reason authenticity is his social media buzzword of 2024, and I'm an expert in this field. There are too many social media management companies out there. It relies on stock photos and boring articles. What are you most proud of about your work?
My greatest source of pride is my happy customers. They are all strong, smart, and successful business owners in their own right. It's great to be a part of their journey.
What qualities are most important in your field?
What sets VioletFig apart is endless creativity and great artistic skills. People often say to me, “Nicole, you're so good at thinking outside the box,'' but the truth is, there are no out-of-the-box ideas. That mindset means we can achieve anything our clients need and didn't even realize was possible.
What is your most productive time of the day?
Production begins at 5 a.m. every day. For me, early morning is “time to go out”. I also wake up in the middle of the night with an idea and write a note in my notes app. This brain never stops.
How do you maintain work-life balance?
I'm very driven but disciplined, so I have to remember to enjoy the little things, like downtime with my rescue cat Kitty, painting, movies, and spending time with my family. Creativity works best in a balanced atmosphere.
