Kenilworth's digital marketing agency, Ada Digital Marketing, has been ranked in the UK's top 100 small and medium-sized elite businesses in less than five years.
Ada Digital Marketing has been ranked 87th in the 2024 UK Elite Business Top 100 Small Business Awards, putting us alongside a wide range of brands and beating out competition from hundreds of other companies across the country.
The honor, which was awarded at a two-day event in London, was a “huge achievement” for Ada Digital, which was launched in 2019 by Kenilworth-born Tom Murrell.
Dani joined the company in 2023. This means the two can combine their combined 30 years of digital marketing experience to best support their clients.
Ada Digital provides a range of services including web design, SEO, PPC advertising, content strategy, CRO and paid social advertising to clients ranging from new businesses coming online for the first time to huge organizations such as Samsung and the NHS. We work with clients.

Having been ranked in the UK's Elite Small Business Top 100, Tom told Nub News he was extremely proud of what they had achieved in such a short period of time.
“There are a lot of digital marketing agencies out there, but to be able to say we are award-winning and in the top 100 small businesses in the UK means a lot to us.”
“On an individual level, we've all worked for companies and won awards before, but it was always someone else's work and as part of a larger team. But when it was our job, , totally we had a hard time getting that recognition.'' It's really special and completely different from other awards in the past. ”
“Pinch me” moment
Each company was analyzed and ranked by a team of 30 judges, including former Dragon's Den entrepreneur Piers Linney. Participation criteria include small and medium-sized businesses with fewer than 250 employees and a turnover of less than £50 million.
The ranking includes companies from an incredibly wide range of industries, including nationally recognized brands such as fine dining wholesaler Cotswold Fail and multi-million pound skincare brand Dr Paw Paw. Also included.
So, for Ada Digital Marketing to be ranked among the big national brands shows they “must be doing something right.”

Dani said: “After submitting the application and receiving no response, we focused on our client.
“We thought this was pretty far-fetched because it was for established companies, companies with up to 250 employees, and there was a lot of competition. So we thought it might not lead to anything. I knew that.
“And Scott English [Founder of Elite Business] The phone rang and said the jury box had chosen us.
“Honestly, I couldn't believe what he was saying. And when it hit home, it was a real 'pinch me' moment.”
The UK's Top 100 Small and Medium Enterprises list is also sponsored by major brands such as Tik Tok, Sky AdSmart, Vodafone, British Business Bank and Club Wembley, which shows just how highly regarded this award is. said Tom and Dani.

The March awards ceremony, which recognized the top 100 small businesses, also included a conference, where winners heard from a variety of speakers, including some of the judges.
It was also a valuable networking opportunity and an opportunity for Tom and Dani to meet other companies on similar journeys.
Dani said: “It was great to talk to people who have been in the business for so many years and have accomplished so much.
“Talking to people who have been running the business much longer than us and who still have big aspirations has given us a glimpse of where we are going.
“It was a really collaborative few days. Everyone was in a similar boat and I couldn't believe we were part of it.”
Dani and Tom said the award was also a great opportunity to learn from other businesses (image provided)
Both said they had learned a lot from their colleagues at Top 100 companies and had already taken much back with them to help customers in Warwickshire and beyond.
One of the things that really stood out to Ada Digital was the use of AI and how it enables clients to implement such tools into their daily operations.
“What was really interesting was how big of a topic AI is at the moment, even though it’s been around for years. We’ve been using AI in our daily work for a long time. ” said Mr. Tom.
“There's a lot of negativity around it. But the reality is, it's about people with the skillsets who know how and when to use AI. It's not about replacing people. .”
“I came away from the conference thinking there was a lot I learned that will help us and our clients for years to come.
“So keep an eye on this area. We'll be looking at AI implementation further over the next six to 12 months.”
record year
Alongside the UK's Elite Business Top 100 Small and Medium Enterprises ranking, 2024 has given Ada Digital even more reason to celebrate as it celebrates a record year since its launch.
The company works with everyone from small start-ups to national brands like Samsung, and continues to expand its customer base, as well as strengthen its relationships with existing customers.
Since the first year, Ada has grown 250 percent and is projected to reach 320 percent by the end of the fifth year. Tom does this by focusing on his clients' needs and making everything as simple as possible for them.
“Ada Digital was founded through my frustration working in the corporate world and constantly confronting agency saboteurs,” he explained.
“We founded Ada Digital with the sole purpose of getting the basics right and making things easier for our clients.
“There's not always transparency and honesty at other agencies, but we've seen it from the other side.
“So working hard, reporting what we're doing, reporting ROI, and to be honest, those are important goals that we've always held fast to.
“And, of course, we need to make sure that the client's objectives are aligned with what we're doing and make sure there's constant communication.”

As well as leveraging their years of digital marketing experience to develop bespoke packages for their clients, the pair also said their knowledge from working in larger companies had proven invaluable.
And Dani, who left her job as head of digital retention at Lloyds Pharmacy to join Ada Digital, said their love for helping clients achieve their goals is as strong as ever.
“When we welcome new clients, we truly feel like we are part of their team,” she said.
“Obviously we provide a service, but we feel like an arm extension of their team and we feel like we're all working together.
“We value every brand we work with and want to see them succeed, and we think that’s what sets us apart from some of the bigger agencies.”
Skies the Limit
The two-day awards also gave Tom and Dani the opportunity to reflect on how their business has grown over the past four years.
Although Ada is no longer a start-up but an established, award-winning brand, the pair said they have no plans to slow down.
“Honestly, it was a pinch moment,” Dani added.
“I had no expectations for this, but I am very happy to have taken advantage of this opportunity.
“Leaving the corporate world and taking the plunge at Ada Digital, away from the reliable safety net of a 'normal' job, was really scary and I can't believe where we are today.
Tom: “Next year it might be even higher on the list.” (Image provided)
Tom added: “It’s really exciting to think about where we’re going next.
“Especially in the past year we have come so far.
“Now it feels like the sky is the limit and you can drive as much as you want.
“It’s great to be appreciated for all of our late nights and weekends and we can see that it’s working.
“So now I just want to keep moving forward and maybe next year I can be even higher on the list!”
