Prior to joining Carnegie Hall, he spent nearly 12 successful years as Marketing Director at Jazz at Lincoln Center (JALC). As she rose through the ranks, she oversaw marketing efforts for her three performance venues at JALC, her orchestra at the world-famous Jazz at Lincoln Center led by Wynton Marsalis, and extensive educational programs. Throughout her tenure, Ms. Villagio was successful in increasing JALC's concert season ticket revenue, including a significant increase in subscription numbers. But her biggest passion continues to be working closely with artists (some established and many still emerging) to find effective ways to share their creative visions with audiences. That's it.
Villagio is an alumnus of VPA's Rose, Jules R. and Stanford S. Setner School of Music's Music Industry Program and the New York Arts Business Council's Arts Leadership Institute in Executive Education. She is also a member of her VPA Council.
