A popular Staffordshire destination known for its weddings, fine dining and spa facilities has undergone a six-figure refurbishment. The renovation, which includes a new bar, took place at The Venue in Modershall Oaks.
This venue has been Moddershall Oaks' most popular location for events since it was built in 2010. Penny Weston is director of popular destinations and says: “Interior design practitioners Emma, Patrick and Lauren were responsible for the interior design, they also designed our restaurant during lockdown so we were really keen to use their input. It has a classy and classy feel to it, so much so that you can put your own stamp on it when you have your wedding here.
“We're really excited to be hosting so many weddings and events this year. We're open almost every day of the year and host a variety of events, including fall wreath workshops and Halloween masquerade balls. .
“We started with the flooring, which is actually wrapped in vinyl. Then Phil from CMS did the painting and decorating. Boston did the fall foliage. We all worked together. It went perfectly without any issues or delays. Our purchasing, management and marketing teams all worked together to ensure the project was delivered.”
While attending the event, we spoke to Steven Levitt and Kim Field, founders of the We Love Stoke Instagram page, who are planning to get married at The Venue next year. “The renovations have been fantastic and we're really happy with them. We're really looking forward to the wedding,” they said.
Other plans for Modercial Oaks are also in the works and will be announced later this year.
