Panel 5: Future-proofing affiliate strategies
The first panel on day two focused on the future of the iGaming sector and affiliate strategies, asking expert speakers about trends they expect to see and will continue to see.
Speakers on the panel included Petra Zackrisson, SVP of Growth at Better Collective, Assaf Dor, CEO of Cellxpert, Anastasiia Kaum, Sales Team Leader at PIN-UP Partners, and Dmitry Belianin, CEO of beliianin.com.
Panelists were asked about trends they are seeing in the industry and how they are impacting it – two that stood out were the explosion of influencer marketing, the rise of artificial intelligence and how consumers are engaging online (with social media channels like Tik Tok changing internet behavior and search patterns).
Hear what they had to say about sensing trends and understanding the market forces surrounding them. They discussed AI and the role it plays in content optimization, and shared the recognition that there's always a lot happening in the industry, and trends often vary by region.
Panel 6: Fraud and Compliance
The next panel was the hot topic of fraud and compliance, and the key takeaway here is that you could be paying into huge amounts of fraud and just don't know it. The panel will feature Anura CEO Rich Kahn, Rocahead CEO Jenny Gonzalez, Red Star Owner Red Barrington, and vCommission CEO Parul Bhargava discussing myth busting and surveillance tactics.
There were many different types of scams highlighted, including fraudulent forms with humans hired to fill out stolen information, cashback and voucher code scams, and believe it or not, bots that play games up to a certain level to avoid being detected by fraud assessment tools. Also shared were some startling statistics that show how fraud is impacting the industry, not to mention the importance of building relationships with partners, networks and affiliates to combat program fraud.
