An exhaustive process was undertaken to closely review thousands of online submissions to identify candidates. In addition, recommendations from industry sources and alumni from prominent lists played an important role in the selection process. Each candidate underwent a rigorous evaluation by a dedicated team and a respected panel of independent expert judges. Evaluation criteria include a variety of factors, including funding/revenue, social impact, scale, originality, and potential. Notably, all final winners were 29 years of age or younger as of December 31, 2023.
