The Cork Digital Marketing Awards will return in 2024 to highlight digital marketing achievements in the region.
Organised by Cork Chamber of Commerce, the awards attract a wide range of applicants, from small businesses to large corporations, individual digital marketers to dynamic teams.
“The digital revolution continues to advance, creating huge opportunities for businesses but also profound changes to how we interact with the world,” Rob Hogan, chairman of Cork Chamber of Commerce, said at the CDMA launch.
“It’s inspiring to see Cork businesses maximise their growth potential by embracing digital media to increase productivity, drive innovation and stay competitive.”
The awards span 18 categories, including Best Content Creation, Best Use of Various Social Media Channels and Best Website.
Digital Marketing Legends 2024 has been awarded a content studio package courtesy of media partner, the Irish Examiner, which will bring the brand story to life across Irish Examiner channels, reaching a wide and engaged audience.
Announcing the awards, Annie Fitzgibbon, director of member services at Cork Chamber of Commerce said: “We're delighted to introduce two new categories this year: 'Best Use of TikTok for Business' and 'Best Use of Digital Marketing for Sustainable Impact'.”
“These categories recognise the ever-changing digital landscape and reflect the fantastic work being done to position Cork at the forefront of sustainability and innovation.”
Sandra Carey, senior marketing executive at the Irish Examiner, added: “Supporting these awards is in line with our commitment to promoting digital communications and recognising excellence in digital marketing.”
“We look forward to seeing the amazing results from this year's participants. Editors in our content studio will work with the winners to elevate their stories and publish them on irishexaminer.com, supported by a marketing campaign across digital, social and our email subscriber base, guaranteeing 5,000 story views.”
