This week, Leanne Heretic. Dean and LeeAnn share how they decided to work with Lead Generation World to build and deliver. EnhanceThe ELEVATE Summit will take place in London on September 16th and 17th. The event is targeted at small and medium-sized advertisers who currently rely on paid media and need to learn how to diversify their traffic sources. The event will also educate affiliates on upcoming changes in the industry and the importance of first-party data collection.

ELEVATE – Collaboration
The conversation began with Leanne saying, “I think the reason I brought Lead Gen World, Maverick and Afiverse together is to bring this event to life. – Because it's really the small and medium sized advertisers that are going to be impacted. Those advertisers that currently rely on paid media to drive sales to their Shopify websites, or that run paid media retargeting campaigns. When the third-party cookie goes away next year, it's all going to come together and impact these small businesses. What we're trying to do is bring these brands together with industry experts from around the world.
“We will provide technology tools that you can implement in your business, we will bring together fantastic speakers from countries such as Germany and the US, bringing together a melting pot of insights and ideas for SMEs to leverage and understand. Where do you need to spend your budget in 2025? Because the same old tactics will become obsolete and if you don't have new skills, your business will suffer.”
Create the right content
Lee-Ann comments, “I'm always going to be biased, and I always think that affiliate marketing is everywhere and you can target different traffic channels so you need to diversify. But maybe where you're a little bit more biased is creating the right kind of content, building the right kind of engagement, and using and leveraging all of these social media platforms organically. So talk a little bit about what people can learn from you specifically when they come to Elevate.”
Dean advises: “Here are some examples of people who have grown their email lists and gotten opt-ins from organic traffic. TikTok is big for this. And what's interesting now about this is that you don't necessarily have to put your face in the content. You can create informational content and drive traffic to your website. You can drive people directly from TikTok to your website or even directly to a landing page.”
“With the email storm coming up and everyone starting to crack down on what you can and can't send, it's much better to have low traffic but high conversion rates, so we'll look at case studies and examples of where a single piece of content has gotten 2,500, 3,000, 4,000 signups.”
Why should affiliates join ELEVATE?
Lee-Ann said, “For affiliates to continue to thrive, it's going to be really important for them to incorporate first-party data collection into their business. This ties in a lot with what you're talking about in terms of the content they need to create and how they can use that content to engage with their audience. So from an affiliate's perspective, what's one of the main reasons they should come to ELEVATE and hear you speak?”
Dean replies: “If you're an affiliate and you make your living by driving traffic, whether it's paid or organic, that's what you make your living off of. If you're doing it paid, you're going to be challenged with how to sustain it. That's where organic comes in. It reinforces what you're trying to do. So my focus is on showing you how to drive organic traffic, high-quality organic traffic. Get a lot of it paid, and then do a lot of retargeting.” How do you get quality traffic that doesn't bounce via email? That way you're not going to get spam reports and they're actually going to respond to your emails, which is important because I think publishers are going to be a little more cautious and want to know more about how they get their traffic.
“Depending on which regions implement this, there will likely need to be some level of audit chain of custody on how the data is captured. We've seen this before, but this will take it to a whole new level. So I want to talk about which social channels, what types of content can get you quality traffic without you actually going crazy on social media or doing funny dances on TikTok or anything like that.”
