The role will be primarily responsible for supporting the brewery owners and other managers with digital marketing, creative content development, coordinating and working on internal and external communications, media, onsite and offsite events.

Duties and Responsibilities

- We respond to all DMs daily and monitor our social media accounts by liking and replying to comments and questions on Facebook, Instagram, X, Untappd and other media platforms to ensure content is legal and appropriate.
- We regularly analyze data from social media accounts and provide valuable information to management on a monthly basis.
- Work with owners to create social media schedules and content
- Follow the instructions to create print and digital ads
- We help with creating POS for sales teams and events, updating and maintaining the “Beer Bible”, creating and editing logos, and other creative assets as needed.
- Monitor all Google, Yelp and other online reviews, share them with management and respond as appropriate.
- Ensure our company information, including hours of operation, is accurate on all online platforms (Google, Yelp, etc.).
- Monitor social media and the web for unauthorized use of RRBC products, images and intellectual property
- It monitors, analyzes, and shares information collected from websites like Untappd, Beer Advocate, and Reddit.
- Make sure your company website always has accurate information, such as hours of operation, current beer descriptions and availability, tour schedules, and private event inquiries.
- We will update the list of on-premise and off-premise accounts that sell our beer in California and outside of the state.
- Respond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner and schedule interviews and photo shoots with brewery owners as needed.
- Assist with media outreach, including sending beer samples for reviews and articles
- Responds to general customer service, media, donations and personal inquiries via email, direct mail and phone messages in a timely and professional manner and routes to appropriate manager/department.
- Responding to, coordinating and managing donation requests
- Coordinating and representing the company at outside events such as beer festivals and other non-profit events, including setting up and taking down all brewery-owned equipment.
- Responding to local event/private party enquiries
- Effectively plan, manage and handle the various aspects, budgets and logistics associated with a successful onsite event or private party.
- Keep your events calendar up to date and share it with both team members and management.
- All other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position will not have regular direct reports and will supervise employees who will be working special events.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
- A comprehensive understanding of alcoholic beverage regulations as they relate to the marketing, advertising and service of alcoholic beverages is essential.
- Ability to track expenses and work within a budget

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 2+ years experience in marketing/communications
- Must be 21 or older
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- You must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
- Valid California Driver's License, DMV Record, Reliable and Insured Vehicle
- Proficient in Adobe, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
- Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop/Lightroom and/or Canva
- If both off-site and on-site events are scheduled, evening and weekend work will be required
- The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds and manipulate and move up to 155 pounds.

- Outdoor work: Outdoor activities are essential and employees will be exposed to a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, snow, etc. Employees must be prepared to work in all weather conditions and dress for comfort and safety.
- Noise Exposure: Employees will be exposed to noise from industrial brewing equipment, kitchen equipment, conversations and background music and will require the ability to concentrate and communicate effectively in the face of noise.
- Time Management: This job requires effective time management skills to balance client meetings, travel time, administrative tasks, and sales goals. Employees must prioritize activities to maximize productivity and achieve sales goals.
- Regular communication and coordination: This role requires effective communication skills and professionalism as you will frequently interact with colleagues, customers and vendors via phone, email and in-person meetings. You will also be required to resolve conflicts and ensure smooth running, requiring strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Customer interactions: You'll interact directly with customers and prospects, conducting sales presentations, negotiating deals, and addressing customer inquiries and concerns. This requires excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication, and the ability to build and maintain customer relationships. You'll participate in promotional events, trade shows, or product launches to increase brand awareness and generate sales leads. This may include setting up a booth, distributing marketing materials, and interacting with event attendees.
- Schedule flexibility: Depending on the needs of the organization, administrative personnel may work standard hours or a schedule that includes nights and weekends to accommodate business demands. Travel to various locations, work sites, or events may be required based on business needs.
