A theme park enthusiast who recently visited Six Flags Over Georgia took to his TikTok channel to express his shock at the prices of the park's food.
Jared Sanders, aka @deezyrides, was visiting a park in Atlanta when he decided to stop by Piedmont Primo's Pizzeria for some pizza.
However, upon arriving, I discovered that a slice of cheese pizza would cost $16.99 and a slice of pepperoni pizza would cost $17.99.
Sanders, who was totally shocked, called the price “diabolical.”
“Hey, I'm hungry right now, and $17 for a slice of cheese pizza is too much.”
According to the sign, each slice of plain pizza comes with chips, a side salad or garlic knots, which will cost extra on top of the already exorbitant $16.99 price tag.
“There's a $1.30 surge charge? What are they doing?”
The video, which was uploaded less than a day ago, has already racked up nearly 215,000 views and has infuriated and confused other TikTok users.
As one veteran tourist put it, “The food prices at Six Flags are insane, they make Disney food prices look reasonable.”
Meanwhile, another person joked: “I just go home, eat and come back.”
Some viewers were astonished when comparing the prices of meals at Costco cafeterias.
“You can buy a large pizza and a whole drink at Costco,” one person pointed out.
Meanwhile, another person quipped: “Oh that's amazing. You can get a bigger slice at Costco for over half that price.”
One hyper-attentive viewer also pointed out that “a bag of chips is $6.49.”
But Sanders isn't the only visitor to notice the park's exorbitant fees.
Another TikTok user who visited a park in Georgia in March of this year reviewed the food and prices of various restaurants.
Popular food vlogger Steve Cha said it was his first visit to Six Flags in 15 years and he was totally “disgusted” by the high prices of the items.
He noted that the Big Belly Burger burger combo “wasn't all that tasty” and cost $18.50.
Cha then told viewers that the churros cost $7 and the soft serve ice cream a staggering $9.
In the end, he said only the $19 strawberry funnel cake was worth the price, and advised future visitors to bring “lots of money.”
The shocking revelation comes at a time when park-goers are already reeling from news that Disney will be dramatically increasing ticket prices.
Earlier this year, Walt Disney Co. is raising some ticket prices for 2025 again as it plans to invest about $2 billion in renovations to its Anaheim, California theme park.
