Netflix, TradeStation and Credit Acceptance roles are hiring senior software talent in Canada.
Software engineers are in high demand across North America, with Canada alone predicted to need an additional 44,300 software engineers and designers by 2031. Luckily, Canada has a deep talent pool, with cities like Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa, Montreal and Waterloo consistently ranking among the world's top tech talent markets.
This high demand has led to rising salaries for software engineers in recent years. According to data from Hired, the average salary for software engineers in Canada is approaching that of the United States, but it's still significantly lower than their American counterparts.
South of the border, demand is just as high: The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects a 25% increase in demand for software engineers between 2021 and 2031. According to Glassdoor, the average salary for this role in the U.S. is $115,802.
Given this, it's no wonder that many U.S. companies are opening their doors to senior Canadian software talent. Here are three companies offering annual salaries of over $100,000. Check out all organizations hiring on Jobs.BetaKit to find more opportunities.
