Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]July 2nd: After placing over 5,000 students in the digital marketing industry and engaging with over 300 recruiters, IIDE has gained a key insight: while the industry has an abundance of execution-level talent, there is a notable gap in strategic expertise.
To address this need, the school has transformed its existing digital marketing graduate program and recently introduced a new graduate program in digital marketing and strategy.
The new on-campus postgraduate programme in Digital Marketing and Strategy will be offered across both campuses (Mumbai and Delhi) and will focus on training graduates/freshers in strategic digital marketing.
The mission of this new program at IIDE is to blend elements of strategy with practical, on-the-job training. To achieve this, we have partnered with WARC, a globally recognized advertising research center. Students will have access to 26,000 award-winning case studies (originally submitted to Cannes).
“We are excited to announce our latest programme,” said Karan Shah, Founder and CEO, IIDE. “This is not just about education, it's about transforming the digital landscape. Today's youth are breaking the limitations of unconventional career paths, and our new PG programme is designed to groom them as digital strategists, enabling them to be at the forefront of transforming the future of digital marketing.”
Recognizing the important role of AI in digital media, the program has incorporated AI-based modules into its curriculum. Tools like Unbounce, Writesonic, and Influencity help students get an edge in this competitive industry.
To further enhance student job readiness, the school plans to introduce an in-house AI tool to conduct mock interviews.
The tool sharpens students' interview skills by providing detailed feedback and personalized guidance, ensuring they are thoroughly prepared for the real interview.
What's unique about this new program is that it helps prepare students for the workforce by providing first-hand industry experience through frequent visits to top agencies such as AdLift, Schbang and FCB Kinnect.
Additionally, the curriculum’s Creative Marketing module has been designed and certified in collaboration with FCB Kinnect, and the Brand Reputation Management (Customer Experience) module has been designed and certified in collaboration with Konnect Insights, ensuring students receive top-level, industry-compliant training.
Moreover, the average placement rate is 95%, placing students with global brands and agencies such as Nykaa, Zomato, McDonalds, Madison World, Publicis Groupe, etc. The new programme is in line with graduate expectations from a postgraduate programme, including hands-on education, industry connectivity and employment.
