Rob Curtis, owner and founder of Swindon-based digital marketing agency, The Pursuit Agency, is celebrating his company's two-year anniversary.
Rob, who lives in Swindon, has grown significantly over the past two years, hiring his first staff to meet growing demand and support future expansion, and now boasts a team of five.
“It's still hard to believe it's been two years already,” says Rob. “Starting a business is hard at any time and over 30% of new businesses fail within the first two years.
“To be able to surpass this is a huge milestone for us, and we're incredibly grateful to our clients for allowing us to be part of their journey.”
The past two years have seen a number of successes: Pursuit Agency has won multiple awards, including Startup of the Year at the 2023 Great British Business and Community Awards and the 2024 Techies Driven by Data award.
“It's great to be recognised for our hard work and dedication. It feels great to be recognised for what we've achieved and the difference we've made to other businesses.”
In September 2023, Rob hopes to hire his first employee, Bell, and further expand the team in 2024. The team currently consists of five members with plans for further growth. “We are always looking for the right people to join the Pursuit team,” Rob added.
Giving back to the community is a core value for Rob and this year he decided to run the Bournemouth Marathon in October to raise funds for Swindon-based charity Best Mates.
Looking to the future, Rob is optimistic: “The next 12 months look like they're going to be even better for us, and I'm excited to see what's to come.”
The Pursuit Agency helps businesses increase awareness using a variety of digital marketing tactics including SEO, pay-per-click and content marketing.
