Rob Curtis, owner and founder of The Pursuit Agency, shared his optimism for the future.
Mee Curtis, from Swindon, said: “I still can't believe it's been two years already.”
“Starting a business is difficult at any time. Over 30% of new businesses fail within the first two years.
“To have surpassed this is a huge milestone for us.
“We're incredibly grateful to our clients for allowing us to be a part of their journey.”
The agency has expanded steadily over the past two years, growing from one person to five.
Curtis hired his first employee, Bell, in September 2023 and has added more members to the team since then.
“We are always looking for the right people to join our pursuit team,” he said.
In addition to growth, The Pursuit Agency has received numerous awards.
The company was named Startup of the Year at the 2023 Great British Business & Community Awards and also won a Techies Driven by Data Award earlier this year.
He added: “It’s fantastic to see our hard work and dedication being recognised.
“It's great to be recognised for what we've achieved and the difference we've made to other businesses.”
As part of his commitment to giving back to the local community, Curtis will take part in the Bournemouth Marathon in October.
He will be raising funds for Swindon-based charity Best Mates, which helps people in difficult situations by matching them with volunteers called 'mates'.
These volunteers will reach out and take the time to meet or talk on the phone to allow for non-judgmental conversations.
They have all been through difficult times themselves, so they will come into the situation with “the understanding and information of what they did to get out of that situation.”
Curtis is optimistic about the company's third year, saying, “It looks like things are going to get even better for us, so I'm excited to see what happens.”
Pursuit Agency helps businesses increase their visibility using a variety of digital marketing tactics including SEO, pay-per-click, and content marketing.
To date, clients include Helen Browning's Organic, Avrion, Filestream, WeAnswer, Milroys and Aegina.
