Digital Marketing Director (Interim)
Nashville, Tennessee
BMG's Digital Marketing department is an award-winning global team at the forefront of artist campaigns, spearheading them with specialist knowledge in social media, audience development, online advertising, CRM, global activation and marketing innovation. The department collaborates with our marketing, product, streaming and analytics teams, working closely with artists and technology partners.
As part of this team, this role will temporarily oversee the digital marketing staff and infrastructure for the Nashville office, managing frontline recording signings primarily in the Country Music space. Your primary responsibilities will be to head up the digital marketing team in Nashville, leading social media, online advertising, audience and fanbase development, CRM and online activation. You will be responsible for managing the team, priorities, internal stakeholders and external partners to create opportunities and contribute to the digital growth of BMG Nashville.
What you do.
- Strategic Digital Marketing Leadership for Nashville Recorded Music.
- Team leadership and development for growing teams.
- Strategy and innovation for social media and connectivity platforms, including social gaming, fan clubs and new technologies.
- Together with the business development team, we manage partner relationships with the Meta platform, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.
- Discord and other connection platforms.
- Individual campaign success and overall territory thinking and planning.
- CRM, data capture, fan to fan marketing and direct to fan marketing (including GDPR and data protection compliance).
- Website and landing page management including GDPR and data protection compliance.
- Manage the tools and systems BMG has available for digital marketing.
- It will be the escalation point for artists, their management and insiders regarding Nashville projects.

Must-have items
- Digital marketing knowledge and expertise in social media, audience development, online advertising and digital activation.
- Music industry campaign and marketing experience.
- Team leadership and development experience.
- Department management experience.
- Partnering experience including proposal and CMS experience.
- Business acumen including budgeting and understanding revenue streams.
- Experience and/or in-depth knowledge of Country Music.
Useful things to have
- Experience as a well-known artist and understanding of a large fanbase and fandom.
- Digital marketing, marketing, or platform-specific qualifications.
- Knowledge of technology and understanding of upcoming trends.
- Analytical thinking and understanding of data and statistics.
- Key account relationships with relevant partners.

Salary Range
$85,000-90,000 per year
