Working as a member of the Canada team in Toronto, the objective of this role is to support the development, execution and evaluation of effective online and offline integrated advertising campaigns to attract holidaymakers to the island of Ireland. The role will provide marketing and management support to the entire Canada team in the implementation and roll-out of the consumer marketing plan, working closely with the Manager Canada and partnering with the media/creative agency in a fast-changing environment, emerging digital platforms and technologies.
Note: This role involves travel and working outside of normal business hours.
Key Result Areas
- Support the delivery and evaluation of consumer marketing campaigns across all marketing platforms.
- We coordinate social media content across owned and paid channels, cultivate vibrant social communities, execute innovative social campaigns and ensure social is integrated into all communications. Analyze social media performance to optimize engagement, follower growth and retention.
- Create and schedule Canada-specific email marketing promotions and work with a central team to support automated email content and reporting.
- Update our consumer website (Ireland.com) to ensure content is relevant and up to date.
- Support PR and Trade Executives in the development of creative assets and ensure brand guidelines are adhered to in all activities. Work closely with team members to deliver a fully integrated and optimized program.
- Monitor campaign analytics using the Tourism Ireland BI dashboard, Google Analytics and other relevant tools and share learnings with the team for optimization.
- Assists with effective budgeting, control and reporting of assigned campaign resources in accordance with company policies and procedures.Provides office administrative support for finances and logistics.
- We will work closely with Fáilte Ireland, Tourism Northern Ireland and other key stakeholders to achieve our shared goals.
- Enter your consumer marketing activities into MARS, our internal reporting and evaluation tool.
- Ensure you adhere to your company's GDPR compliance policies and procedures for your area of practice.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations as required to report on projects and results.
- Any other duties as may be reasonably required by the company from time to time, which may include travel and working outside normal working hours, and may also be required to represent Tourist Ireland at consumer events, trade shows and educational trips.

- Minimum 1-2 years of specialized experience in a similar position.
- Relevant third level qualification.
