Uprated, a Bournemouth-based digital marketing and web design agency, is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
The agency was co-founded by John Darch and Andy White. They sought to leverage their extensive experience in both agency and client-side roles to create a service-oriented agency focused on excellence in digital marketing and web design.
In the 10 years since its founding, Uprated has achieved consistent growth despite difficult economic conditions. The company has been successful in securing a stable customer base, with long-term contracts accounting for 75% of sales. This year, Uprated expects to be its most successful financial year and attributes this achievement to the dedication of its team and the effective results produced for its clients.
The outbreak of the pandemic posed significant challenges, as a significant portion of the agency's retained clients suspended or reduced their marketing efforts. Despite these hurdles, Uprated chose not to furlough staff and instead expanded its team and adjusted its services, ultimately allowing him to achieve double-digit growth during that period. did.
Uprated's 10th anniversary was commemorated with a gathering at the Nici Hotel, complete with cake, photos and food from 7bone, reflecting the agency's culture of team cohesion, including those working remotely.
Looking forward, Uprated plans to expand its team and strengthen its service offerings, including increasing its content creation capabilities. The agency is also considering options for more work space to accommodate staff growth.
