Social media management company Hootsuite has announced the acquisition of Talkwalker, an AI-powered social analytics platform. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but it is expected to close in the second quarter of 2024.
Canada-based Hootsuite has partnered with Talkwalker for the past seven years to provide social analytics tools to its customers. Hootsuite was launched in 2008 and boasts 6,000 enterprise customers and 200,000 users overall.

To achieve this, we are building a social media performance engine, where AI takes consumer data and develops actionable strategies. and creating feedback loops that generate insights about measurable impact.”
