Three years after spending everything he had on rehab with “zero cash,” James Argent is scraping together a six-figure salary.
The TOWIE graduate's fortune – and entire lifestyle – has turned a corner, with The Sun revealing new figures showing his company is now worth a whopping £151,650.
Meanwhile, he owns another company valued at a similar amount. This means his account is now over £300,000 in the black.
Argue, 36, left the country with a zero bank balance after a seven-year battle with additional cocaine, suffering two near-fatal overdoses at home.
At the time, ex-Gemma Collins, 43, told how she hit “rock bottom” and called an ambulance and police before making multiple trips to rehab.
In 2021, he exclusively revealed that he plans to undergo life-saving stomach surgery after doctors warned him to “lose weight or die.”
But even better, after turning his life around, documents filed at Companies House this week show Arg Promotions Ltd has cash reserves of £47,396.
He also owes a further £130,371 for projects he has been involved with, which will once again increase his bank balance once paid.
Previous documents filed with the Executive in 2023 also show that a second company, called James Argent Ltd, was thriving with a value of more than £153,000.
It's a far cry from just four years ago, when the company had no cash in the bank and lost around £24,000.
health battle
In May 2020, the ITVBe personality candidly admitted he suffered two near-fatal overdoses at home and had to have the door kicked in by paramedics.
Of his first overdose, he told us, “I took drugs for three days straight, locked in my house and alone in the dark.
“I was at rock bottom. My heart was pounding out of my chest, my nose was bleeding, I was shaking, and my breathing was terrible.
“My family was banging on the door, shouting, 'Open!' but I didn't open the door to anyone.
“They were worried that I might have overdosed and died in the house.”

And Argue told The Sun last year:
“You know, it's well documented that I was in an ambulance and taken to the hospital and things like that. But I'm far from there now.
“Sometimes you have to be careful. Your brain can say, “Oh, was it really that bad?'' or “This time it's going to be different, this time I can control it.''
“It's important for me to be reminded, to be reminded of how bad things were.”

He previously admitted that his addiction problems led to psychosis and paranoia, and that he often missed work because his cocaine overdose made people reluctant to hire him.
In addition to health issues, Arg's weight ballooned to 26 stone after he stopped exercising during lockdown and replaced drinks and drugs with fast food.
He then underwent a sleeve gastrectomy and now weighs a healthy 14 grams.
Arg recently underwent skin removal surgery on his body.
He has a tummy tuck and now looks slimmer than ever.
