Paul Hollywood has reportedly signed a six-figure deal to appear in a TV ad for Compare the Market.
The Great British Bake Off star, 58, will feature in the site's latest campaign, using his last name as a pun to promote the 2-4-1 movie ticket offer.
A source told The Sun: “This is particularly surprising given that Judge Bake Off rarely lends his name to anything or participates in election campaigns.” .
“However, the meerkat ad was well received and he thought the use of the meerkat ad was interesting and clever.
“And Paul is an international star who deserves an international campaign, because Bake Off made him famous all over the world.”

Speaking after the ceremony, Paul said he felt “very proud” to have been made an MBE, but said he wished his nan had been alive to witness it.
He explained: “I was really overjoyed. When I[first noticed]I told her mother, but her mother was silent on the phone, which is quite unusual for her mother.
“I wish my nan would have seen it.'' Like all of us, she loved the Royal Family.
“But she especially would have been very happy. But my mom was here today, so she was very happy.”
When asked who he would choose as the members of the royal family to compete in the Bake Off tent, Paul said: “I think I would choose Kate and Will. They would be very welcome!”
He then spoke about Princess Anne, who presided over the ceremony, and said he had previously met her at Buckinham Palace.
He said: 'I've always loved the Princess Royal.
“A few years ago, when the Duke of Edinburgh (at the time) wasn't feeling very well, I met her at Buckingham Palace. We were all with members of the royal family, and I happened to be with Princess Anne. So it was really nice to see her again today.
“She certainly said, 'Baking is essential to all of us' DNA. We love scent.' And I said, “I definitely grew up with that smell.”
“I think she particularly likes Chelsea Buns. I made some promises to her, so I put myself on the spot.”
Asked if the royal family were fans of the show, Paul confessed: “I was fully aware[of that]yes.”
