TikTok viewers went wild over Leesa Teesa's 50 storytimes titled “Who Did You Marry on TF,” which called her ex-husband a “pathological liar” and detailed examples of her relationships? .
This crazy story captivated people as each of the 50 videos racked up millions of views, leading many to wonder just how much money this TikToker made from her viral videos.
But now Leesa is answering this question in a new video.
“I wanted to come here and tell you all about how much money I made on TikTok with this 'Who Married TF?' series is very inaccurate,” she explained.
Leesa said that when she started the series, she had not yet joined the Creator Fund, which was set up by the app to compensate creators for their content.
“Not approved [for the creator fund] Until the middle of the series…all the videos I made before that weren't even eligible for the Creator Fund, so…
She added that the number “only counts based on eligible views, so if you do the math, that's about it right now.”
Leesa then claimed that she was suspended by the Creators Fund for “multiple violations” by re-uploading parts of the series that were originally deleted.
“For the next 30 days, I'm not making any money from my videos. I'm just making these videos from the heart,” the TikToker said.
“So for those of you who think I made 80,000, 100,000, 300,000, I'm really sorry to disappoint you, but the actual numbers are not that far away. I have no intention of quitting.”
She also hinted at the idea of another possible series, but said it wouldn't be 50 parts long like the last series.
In the comments section, viewers were shocked to hear about Leesa's suspension and encouraged her to find other ways to earn money from her content.
“If you upload it to YouTube, you'd be surprised how many people haven't seen it yet,” one person wrote.
Another said: “You literally walked around with this app on your back for a week. They should pay you.”
Another added: “I'll be watching this series again in 30 days. I hope I earn some coins!”
