Nottingham-based Eight Days a Week Print Solutions (EDWPS), currently in the midst of its transformation into Eight Group, has teamed up with Crawford Technology Consulting (CTC) to invest in London-based digital marketing agency Marketlayer. Acquired privately. .
The transaction, which closed on Friday (April 26), will see Eight Group acquire majority and controlling interest, with CTC acquiring the remainder.
Market Layer was founded in 2008 by current Managing Director Gabe Cooney. The company provides digital communications across a variety of sectors. Mr. Cooney will continue in his role and continue to oversee day-to-day business operations.
