At a ribbon-cutting ceremony late last month, the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce helped provide a new studio space to one of its members. An open house at Martin Media's new location on Kenai Avenue in Soldotna offered free headshots and an opportunity to showcase what the company has to offer the Kenai Peninsula.
Founded seven years ago, Martin Media is a marketing company that works with local businesses and organizations to improve their online presence. We are a company specializing in photo and video work.
“Martin Media's primary goal is to work with businesses where they are to create targeted video marketing campaigns that ultimately solve their organization's goals,” said Josiah Martin, Founder and CEO. states. “Whether the goal is to acquire new customers or raise funds for a major project, we support each company where they are and help them get where they want to be. ”
The company has worked with numerous prominent local organizations, including Central Peninsula Hospital and the Borough of the Kenai Peninsula. Before moving to a larger space, Martin Media's office consisted of a few small desks and little space for filming.
Martin said the new space will be more appealing to customers and allow for more dynamic video and photo shoots.
“You don’t have to carry around a lot of lights and equipment, everything is set up and ready to go,” he said. I'm grateful for this new location. ”
In addition to marketing services, Martin Media also offers wedding photography and video packages. Martin's company holds about 30 weddings a year and is always busy. The company also specializes in family portraits, senior photos, and other life events.
Martin said his company's goal is to help other businesses on the peninsula thrive, so it will be beneficial to the local economy. This helps keep dollars in the country.
“When the economy slows down, people suffer, and marketing costs are often the first thing to be cut,” Martin said. “Those who can keep their marketing going are the only ones that really continue to shine through tough times.” Having a strong media presence will only benefit those companies through the downturn. ”
Based in Soldotna, Martin loves capturing amazing landscapes and special moments using photography and video. He says his focus is on creating finished products that make you feel like you're back in the moment.
“Whether you are a new business or an existing business that wants to continue to grow, we can help you with that,” Martin said. “More people are looking for you and searching for you online, not just showing up in their cars. We want to maximize your online presence through engaging photos and videos. I will try.”
