The Pinnacle Award recognizes individuals whose contributions significantly enhance the value of IWLA membership. Established in 2015, this award is the highest honor bestowed upon members and represents individuals who have completed specific and timely service to IWLA members.
Jay Strother, IWLA Chairman and CEO, said, “The IWLA Executive Committee recognizes this award as the recipients have collectively supported IWLA through some of the most difficult times in recent history. I couldn't choose just one.” “Thanks to the leadership of these individuals, IWLA has been able to succeed as an association and support our industry.”
Mr. Ajurony was a longtime contributor to IWLA, serving on several committees and later serving on IWLA's Board of Directors. But it was her strong leadership as chairman from 2020 to 2021 during the height of the pandemic that helped Ajrony earn the industry's highest honor.
“IWLA has provided me with tremendous opportunities to lead, grow, and connect with a great group of warehouse logistics professionals,” said Leslie Ajlany. “I am grateful to have fond memories and personal connections that I will carry with me into my next chapter.” Ajrony announced that he plans to retire in July 2023.
