Thatches Cottage has been closed since mid-April but welcomed guests back on Saturday 25th May.
The renovations also included a makeover of the inside of the pub, which has been “completely modernised” with vibrant décor and contemporary booths, breathing “new life” into it.
The pub's outdoor garden has seen the installation of two new heated pergolas, new seating and two new outdoor televisions.
Behind the scenes, chefs are at work in the newly refurbished kitchen and visitors can make use of new disabled toilet facilities.
Sports fans can enjoy a wide range of sports channels both indoors and outdoors on eight TVs located throughout the pub.
Meanwhile, the drinks menu has been overhauled, introducing refreshing new beers such as Greene King popular Flint Eye and Rebel Head, as well as new cocktails.
As for food, the summer menu will offer two main dishes for £15.49, alongside other favourites and new desserts.
The investment has created many jobs for the local community, with the refurbishment seeing staff numbers triple, adding 16 new staff, and the pub is still recruiting.
David Pearson, general manager at The Thatched Cottage, said: “The team at The Thatched Cottage had a fantastic reopening weekend, welcoming the Maidenhead community back and seeing how much everyone is loving the renovation.
“As the new general manager of Thatched Cottage, I'm proud that our pub is at the heart of the local community and I can't wait to see all our customers, new and old, enjoying a drink and a meal.”
