Tinsukia: A two-day residential training programme on E-commerce, Social Media Marketing and Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), organised by ‘WE FOR YOU’ with support from NABARD, concluded successfully at CMTC residential hall, Tinsukia on Saturday.The initiative aimed to equip Self Help Groups (SHGs), Joint Responsibility Groups (JLGs), Producer Organisations (POs) and entrepreneurs with the requisite skills to thrive in the digital marketplace.
The programme saw a diverse group of participants actively participating in interactive sessions and practical workshops led by Ms. Anjana Bhatia, Master Trainer, M/S Eastland, who is an expert in e-commerce and social media marketing. Participants gained actionable insights and strategies that will help them navigate and thrive in the digital economy. Key personalities present at the opening ceremony included Mr. Varun Biswas, District Development Manager, NABARD, Mr. Vishwanath Jha, Principal District Manager, Tinsukia, Mr. Suranjan Chatterjee, Director, Rural Self Employment Training Institute, Mr. Manjit Gogoi, District Project Manager, Assam Rural Livelihood Mission and Mr. Trinayan Gogoi, Additional Secretary, WE FOR YOU, who were present at the closing ceremony.
In his closing remarks, Barun Biswas, DDM, NABARD, expressed happiness at the enthusiasm and dedication shown by the participants. He reiterated the huge potential of digital commerce to transform local businesses and urged participants to leverage their new skills to expand their market reach and strengthen their entrepreneurial ventures.
The speeches were followed by a certificate ceremony where all the participants were presented with certificates. The certificates of achievement were presented by distinguished guests including Mr. Varun Biswas and Mr. Vishwanath Jha.
The participants expressed their gratitude to NABARD for supporting this initiative and acknowledged the valuable learning experience gained.
In his closing remarks, Mr. Trinayan Gogoi, Secretary, “We For You”, thanked the participants for their active participation and the trainers for their valuable contribution. He reiterated “We For You” commitment to continue such educational initiatives to support economic growth and inclusive development.
