PDM has announced a major upgrade to its Kilmarnock branch, with the investment seeing it triple the size of the store and significantly expand its product range to “better meet the needs of existing and new customers”.
The upgraded facility was officially opened by Daksh Gupta, CEO of PDM's parent company, Huws Gray Group.
PDM has operated in town for more than 25 years, but moved to its current location in 2006 to offer customers a wider range of products beyond its traditional line of above- and below-ground drainage products.
The Kilmarnock branch now occupies a total area of approximately 1.5 acres and the store is a fully open plan retail space, offering full visibility from the counter as well as the ability to offer additional stock and a wider range of drainage, plumbing, roofing, fencing, electrical and general building products.
Commenting on the relaunch, Eddie Hernon, Managing Director of PDM said: “This is a hugely exciting and significant day for the continued success of our Kilmarnock branch. This investment provides us with a solid platform for success as the construction industry begins to grow again, enabling us to offer a wide range of products to our existing customers in a one-stop shop, whilst also attracting a whole new customer base.”
