APU SoMM Senior Lecturer, Dr Morakinyo Dada, emphasised that APU’s digital marketing curriculum is designed to prepare students for the ever-changing digital marketing environment.

Fellow SoMM Senior Lecturer Dr Song Bee Liang highlighted that APU's digital marketing curriculum integrates technologies such as AI, machine learning (ML) and big data analytics, enabling students to create personalised marketing campaigns.
“At APU, our focus is on the evolution of social media channels where technologies such as AI, ML and AR are shaping a personalized and immersive user experience,” she says.
Song explained that platforms like Facebook and Instagram are not only powerful e-commerce tools that enable direct purchasing, but they are also at the forefront of promoting data security through blockchain technology, giving users ownership of their data and content.
“Mastering these technologies and strategies will enable APU students to navigate the dynamic realm of personalized marketing and the evolution of social media to excel,” she adds.
