Digital Marketing Assistant – South Africa

Fashion and lifestyle brand Poetry is seeking an exceptional new talent to join the team. This is a 9 month position, contracted through The Content Studio.

My work life looks like this:

• You'll hit the ground running as Poetry's Assistant Digital Lead and Social Media Coordinator, supporting the entire team. Your commitment to your role and responsibilities will accelerate and strengthen your learning in this multifaceted environment.

• The role will involve processing and tracking monthly invoices on time, tracking and updating production schedules, supporting the wider team to help coordinate between key projects and other areas where your enterprising and intelligent involvement will make a difference.
• You will oversee the creation of weekly emails, link testing and deployment to insights and reporting, and also collaborate on ad-hoc posting to social media channels.
• Delivering a clear design brief to the studio on time and in line with agreed studio SLAs and managing the feedback loop within deadline parameters is a critical and ongoing role.
• This also relates to the paid media side of things, preparing studio briefs and liaising with agencies on updates and timelines.
• Manage and update team status sheets for creative briefs to ensure handover dates are adhered to and liaise with partners and key internal stakeholders as required to manage critical campaign timelines.
• You'll also get hands-on experience with the two things you love – fashion and content. Building relationships with the Merchandise team is essential to effectively manage sample sourcing for content production and assist with product management during shoots.
• Your keen fashion sense and proven talent for styling and content creation means that you're always keeping an eye on our products and content with a keen interest and eagerness to collaborate. Here's your chance to unleash your creative talents.

Weekly reports on competitor activity and presentation of exciting trends with a big picture view will be a vital contribution in driving insight and decision-making for the team. You will play a key role in supporting the overall outcome of Poetry & Poetry of Living digital marketing to deliver on our digital-first and customer-led initiatives.
