Ms McHugh is said to have been effectively unemployable for some time after news of her affair broke, but managed to secure work as a property manager.
“I feel I am one of the lucky few who have over 11 years of real estate sales and property management experience in Brisbane packed into my suitcase and can unleash it and put it to use (in my new job),” she wrote in her online profile.
“I absolutely love working in real estate.
“Every day is different, you meet new people and relationships are formed.
“I find it rewarding to tackle the day-to-day changes and challenges of property management and I get satisfaction from knowing that our clients are happy with our services.”
McHugh said she attributes much of her success in real estate to her experience working as a high school art teacher.
She worked as an art teacher in the Blue Mountains for several years before moving to Queensland.
“I have a creative approach, am organized, have excellent communication skills and most of all, I truly enjoy helping people,” McHugh wrote.
“I look forward to serving you now and in the future.”
Baden Clay's mistress testified early in the murder trial, recounting her furious reaction to news that she and his wife were due to attend the same real estate conference on April 20, 2012.
Her testimony was used by the prosecution to show that Baden-Clay's double life was about to fall apart, and that he had killed his wife before a confrontation erupted between the two women.
