LinkedIn is officially launching its new premium Company Pages service to allow more small businesses to sign up for its expanded Business Profile service.
LinkedIn has been developing Premium Company Pages over the past few months with the aim of growing subscription revenue by offering incentives for brands to maximise their presence within the app.
Now, the company is introducing this option more broadly, with some interesting additions.
Firstly, Premium Company Pages subscribers will now have access to a range of new options to help promote their business, enhancing their presentation and toolset within the app.
LinkedIn Premium Company Pages include custom CTA buttons to help generate leads, the ability to automatically invite people to engage with your company page or content, insights about your page visitors, view testimonials, access to an AI writing assistant tool for your posts, and more.
LinkedIn is developing more features for its premium Company Pages, including the ability to showcase company profiles. A new section called “Service Showcase” allows you to display rich media and reviews directly on your business profile.
It also rolls out a custom “Request a Service” button that links to your business page to help with lead generation.
Premium business subscribers will receive more alerts from searchers looking for quotes, and premium business member profiles will also be visible in more areas.
And it wouldn’t be a LinkedIn update without AI.
“Premium Business' unlimited search capabilities allow subscribers to find and contact potential business leads with custom invitations, attach unlimited messages to connection requests, and use InMail to reach out to prospects directly through multiple channels. With the help of AI, subscribers can save time starting drafts to new leads and edit drafts created using AI to increase the chances of getting a response.”
LinkedIn and its parent company, Microsoft, are committed to AI, so it's no surprise they've found another way to integrate generative AI tools to enhance connections within the app.
So, what is the cost?
at present, Prices for LinkedIn's premium business subscription start at $99 per month, but are cheaper if you pay annually.
That's a lot, but if you're generating leads from LinkedIn, it might be worth it as these enhancements give you even more ways to leverage the platform to grow your presence.
It all depends on your business and where you find value, but if LinkedIn is a strong lead generation driver for your brand, it may be worth considering.
LinkedIn says Premium Company Pages are currently rolling out and will be available globally by the end of July.
