Social Media Manager Job Responsibilities
- You will strategize and execute innovative social media campaigns for our clients, collaborating on all aspects with our in-house Beautiful Digital and client teams.
- Manage artist clients and their teams and report to the Account Director and Company Director.
- Manage your client's social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Discord, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Discord, Giphy, Twitch, and other platforms related to their stories.
- Ideate social media content with a broad team of artists.
- We leverage our knowledge of short-form content and creative marketing campaigns and assets to deliver results for artists.
- Develop content from a wide range of campaigns to perform best on each social media platform.
- Learn to chair strategic and planning calls and meetings with clients.
- We work with Beautiful Digital's clients to create content for all social platforms, especially TikTok, Instagram, and vertical content.
- Engage in creating social media presence on new and emerging social media platforms as needed.
- Work with our in-house Beautiful Digital creative team to create dynamic graphic and video content that fosters audience interaction, grows your audience, and engages your audience.
- Support directors with new business and business development proposals.
- Analyze reports, audience information, and demographics to view key results weekly.
- If applicable, work with members of the Beautiful Advertising team to align advertising campaigns alongside your organic social media strategy.
- Use and create content calendars and timelines.
- Stay up to date with social media and digital technology trends.
Required experience and skills
- This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a digital or social field within the music industry.
- A degree in marketing is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of the digital music landscape and industry.
- Team player.
- Attention to detail.
- We have a deep understanding of social channels, emerging platforms, and communicating with audiences across a variety of mediums.
- Experience using social media scheduling and monitoring tools such as Crowdtangle, Hootsuite, etc.
- Developing and delivering social media strategies.
- Experience managing successful social media marketing.
- Knowledge of industry trends and strong connections.
- Hands-on experience using a wide range of platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok and social media tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and a track record of on-time delivery.
