That hurts.
Machine Gun Kelly is no stranger to getting covered and inked from head to toe with tattoos honoring his music, hometown, fiancée Megan Fox and more, but now the “Emo Girl” singer is trying to change that.
The musician, whose real name is Colson Baker, took to Instagram on Tuesday to show off his stunning new blackout tattoo. The ink design, created by renowned ink artist Roxx, covers most of MGK's arms, shoulders, and chest.
Baker, 33, captioned a photo of the design: “For spiritual purposes only,” but said he still has the shape of a cross on his chest and lines from his more colorful designs still peeking out on his arms. Remaining.
Rocks also posted a photo of the final product, saying, “I've never come across a more demanding product.”
MGK commented on the post, “Thank you for the joy and pain.''
The intense inkwork received mixed reviews from his fans, but some were outraged that MGK covered up some of his most recognizable tattoos, including many nods to his hometown of Cleveland. However, many praised the star's strength of will.
“Wow. All that work was for nothing,” one person commented, while another said, “I can't believe I wore such an amazing bodysuit…this is crazy.”
A third defended the dramatic transformation, saying: “It's not him getting rid of old tattoos. If you look at it spiritually, he's trying to start over. He's changing himself and coming out stronger and better. It’s evolving into something.”
Perhaps Ms. Baker attended a tattoo parlor with Mr. Fox, who recently showed off a “remade” sleeve decorated with birds and flowers.
The couple still has a lot of matching ink, including a voodoo doll on their ring fingers. Fox has recently made changes to her past designs, including covering up her pelvis tattoo with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green's name with a snake.
No word yet on what the “Transformers” star thinks of her husband-to-be's new look.
