Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile is proud to announce the appointment of Caryn Granzow as Director of Sales and Marketing. A prominent figure in the hospitality industry, his Granzow brings 28 years of expertise and a distinguished track record to the hotel.
Granzow's distinguished career includes influential roles at Kokua Hospitality, Millennium Knickerbocker Chicago, Conrad Chicago, and more. Most recently, he served as director of sales and marketing at Chicago's Blackstone Hotel, Sage Hospitality, where he managed a diverse in-property team covering sales, catering, event services, marketing, and e-commerce. For her outstanding contributions, Granzow received her Sales Team of the Year award from Sage Hospitality in 2018.
A native of Glenview, Illinois, Granzow graduated from Drake University with degrees in political science and economics. Her journey into the hospitality industry began through her national politics and government service. Demonstrating her continued commitment to excellence, Ms. Granzow has been active in professional sales skills and negotiation training with Hyatt, as well as Sage's hospitality and leadership development programs with Hilton. Her hospitality philosophy embodies the “can-do” spirit that resonates throughout the team and revolves around finding creative ways to say “yes.” Granzow's leadership and sales abilities have been consistently demonstrated throughout her career.
