If you ever had the chance to see 50 Cent's Final Lap Tour, you know how epic the show was. Not only did 50 perform her biggest hits from her debut album, Get Rich or Die, but she also brought out her G-Unit family.
Throughout the tour, which visited over 70 cities and over 20 countries, we introduce Tony Yayo, who was right there in the '50s. 50 toured late last year from July to December.
Just recently, Tony Yayo gave an interview to Vlad TV and talked about how great his experience touring at age 50 has been, especially financially. The “So Seductive” rapper revealed he made six figures…not bad for a support act!
Tony Yayo talks about the greatness of the '50s: he's an icon. Ask any of the people who organized Live Nation's tours and they'll tell you, “Your favorite rapper can't do what 50 did.'' ”
And even though Tony didn't have any merchandise to sell while on tour, he was very grateful for the profits he made just by playing.
“I don't ask for too much,” Tony says. “I'm making six figures, so why bother with more? Cool. I'm not worried about that. Trust me, I have a great check.” Money is great, money is great.”
Tony also praises 50 for taking such good care of everyone.
“Please understand, many artists are not receiving treatment. [well]” continues Tony. “People think Fif is the bad guy, but when you're staying at the Four Seasons, there's the Eiffel Tower there, and when you're staying at the W in Bahrain, you're sipping lanis on the water.” has an F1 race track. I missed Giorgio Armani's breakfast. It's a shit movie! Working with 50 people is a shitty movie, brother! ”
