Diz and it: Ciampi Diz, who has been Balmain's chief marketing officer since 2017, will be leaving the Paris-based fashion house “to pursue other interests.”
Balmain announced his resignation in a short press release. His next move was not immediately known.
Olivier Rousteing, Balmain's creative director since 2011, said: “From my first day at Balmain, Ciampi has always been a great partner, a strong supporter and above all a great friend.” I commented.
In her role as a long-time employee of KCD in Paris, Diz first started working with Balmain in 2007, when she signed on with the heritage brand as one of the public relations firm's main clients.
A year after Qatar-based investment firm Mayhoola acquired Balmain, Diz became the brand's first in-house chief marketing officer, responsible for overseeing marketing, advertising, media relations and digital.
“Tsampi has been the ideal partner to work with for many years,” Balmain CEO Jean-Jacques Gebel said in a statement. “We have relied on his fresh thinking and innovative solutions, and we will all miss him.”
Diz's successor at Balmain has not yet been named.
Diz worked for KCD Worldwide for more than 15 years and was promoted to Senior Vice President and Managing Director of KCD Paris.
