A local mother has told how her two children inspired her to launch a six-figure baby sling business. Jana Laughlin founded her Rylobaby in 2018 as a completely self-funded business run from her home in Derby.
This family-run business specializes in affordable and stylish baby slings, as well as baby play, nursing and sleeping gear. Yana said her two children inspired her to start her own business, and she wanted to address common issues faced by new parents.
She said: ” We find it impossible to find high quality, stylish baby products at affordable prices. They are either very expensive or beautiful and stylish, with little consideration for the baby's safety.

“So we had to create something of our own. Creating and sharing products that help other moms and dads enjoy intimacy with their little ones is one of life's greatest gifts. ”
Since then, the business has attracted celebrity fans like Stacey Solomon, Amazing six-figure sales. Jana says that joining Amazon in 2018 has dramatically improved her business.
“Since last year, we have sold over 12,000 units and 80% of our sales come from Amazon. With the support of a dedicated account manager, we have also expanded into Italy and Germany. Thanks to Fulfillment by Amazon , I don't have to worry about storage space. Not only that, my business gives me the flexibility to balance childcare and work, giving me the freedom to travel and cherish quality time with my young children. “You can,” she added.
